Ivory is a seasoned professional with a robust background in resource development and administrative leadership. As the current Office/Resource Development Administrator at John W. Ridgeway Contractors, LLC, doing business as Ridgeway Homes, she plays a pivotal role in community engagement and the rehabilitation of homes for those in need. Her expertise shines in uniting civic organizations, nonprofits, and prospective homeowners to create safe, habitable living spaces.

Before her tenure at Ridgeway Homes, Ivory demonstrated her proficiency in the public sector, particularly from December 2018 to December 2021, where she adeptly managed and secured federal resources amounting to $863,000 for The City of Laurel Housing Authority. Her administration repaired 112 owner-occupied homes for elderly and disabled residents, showcasing her capability in federal compliance, oversight, and grant funding.

Ivory's impressive track record includes her appointment by Mayor Harvey Johnson, Jr. as the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for External Funding in Jackson, Mississippi, where she was responsible for the oversight of over $80 million in external stimulus funding. She was also pivotal in adjusting the city's indirect cost rate for external funding. Following this, she served as Deputy Director for the Office of Housing and Community Development, contributing significantly to the historic 20-year Comprehensive City Plan for Hattiesburg, MS, during her time in Mayor Johnny DuPree's executive cabinet.
